A friendship that ends....

DISCLAIMER: Speaking in generalities, If you think this is about you then clearly you think too much of yourself...

Good morning everyone it is 5:54 am and the sun is out and shining down upon me this wonderful morning. This morning I would like to reflect on friendships by starting the morning with the quote “A friendship that can end never really began” Publilius Syrus quotes (Roman author, 1st century B.C.) You might be wondering why I would pick such a topic to start my day off with? Well that has an easy answer, yesterday a good friend proved for the final time that they were unreliable and untrustworthy. I have to be honest the person is very sick and in deep need of recovery, but we all know you can't force someone to get help. So this morning instead of picking them apart for everything that is wrong with them, I'd rather just pray for their recovery. Unfortunately I can't help them with how sick they are but I can look upon the good times of our friendship and remember what the beast of addiction does to people. The beast has claimed another soul and it will feed off them as long as it can till their is nothing left of them. So as we go on with our day let's reflect of who people were before addiction inflicted their lives, and remember them when they were happy souls. I know that the beast has to eat too and he found himself a feast. So here's to friendships that never were meant to be but taught us very valuable lessons.

P.S. Elise please don't cast a spell on me...   ;)
